The attitude and credibility of future physicians and nurses as treatment
providers for smoking- and tobacco-related diseases may be influenced by their
smoking habits. We compared smoking habits among medical and nursing students,
and examined whether these habits changed during the course of education for
each group.
While growing up, many young people are told that they should either be a
nurse or a teacher, and if you were a girl they said, "when you get older-
a woman's work is never done".
At first, Clint was hesitant about going back to school. A retired member of United States Air Force, he was working in accounting for an insurance company in San Antonio, Texas. It was in his heart to pursue the next level in his career, but he wasn't sure whether he could handle the time, cost and inconvenience of returning to the classroom.
