It's only natural that a university that offers bachelors and masters degrees in nursing and health care administration would have a well-equipped, professionally staffed student health facility. One College of Nursing in Illinois teamed up with the UIC School of Public Health to launch initiatives to attract more nursing students, under a three-year U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grant. The new programs include a mentoring program for paraprofessionals and a fast-track nursing degree program.Promotion- Master's Degrees for 26 FA 39 officers
The fiscal year 2000 lieutenant colonel promotion board selected 26 FA 39 officers for promotion, compared to twenty-two officers selected in last year's board. Of those chosen, nineteen were fully trained, and eleven were graduates of the fully funded FA 39 master's degree program. The FA 39 promotion-zone selection rate exceeded the Army's average two years in a row.
